Track and Trace
All orders entered in your CargoOffice are available in the module Track and Trace for both you and your clients. In stead of clients calling you and informing about the status of their shipment, they can logon to your CargoOffice and see for themselfs.
We have seen situations where the most busy departments (customer care, orderentry) didn't receive a single phone call concerning shipment information. This situation is something everybody is eager to have because it means you can do more with less.
Information
Track and Trace is all about the status of orders. CargoOffice has a powerfull and flexible way to react on predefined status changes. Imagine a load which is not going to make its ETA. One could change the status of this order or orders which in turn can trigger a number of actions like:
- emailing the customer
- sending an SMS to the customer
- inform the drivers wife to let her know he's going to be late for diner
Of course these are only examples but the point is you can inform different parties in a number of ways (email, SMS, HTTP) when an order receives a certain status.
